We designed and built this master bathroom in an area that was once a laundry room/bathroom with a headbanger staircase down to the bedroom. We dropped the floor to bedroom level, and put in new stairs through the shower to reach the back deck. We went with a mainly clean, spa-like aesthetic of white and gray, but added a wood vanity and brass accents for touches of warmth and to fit with the more rustic nature of the house. Undermount lighting in the shower and bath niches add an element of luxury.
